Dr. Gretchen Henson was born in New Jersey and moved to Arizona at the age of 4. It was at that very young age that Dr. Henson realized she wanted to become a dentist. Dr. Henson attended the University of Arizona where she received a degree in Public Health. She continued her education at the University of Colorado where she received her DDS. Dr. Henson received her Pediatric certificate at the Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and became Board certified in 2013. She was the director of a pediatric residency program in New York City and spent some time in private practice in Tribeca. Dr. Henson has a passion for teaching dentistry and has taught at ASDOH, Lutheran Medical Center and 2 other hospitals in Brooklyn. NY.
Dr. Henson enjoys living in the Historic District of Phoenix, AZ with and her son. They have two rescue dogs, Willow and Shelby, who are both certified therapy dogs and are a great help to her son. In her spare time Dr. Henson enjoys running, gardening and volunteering.
